Den 3 – Webelos 1
Thank You !!!
Dear Parents,
We just want to send a great big “thank you” to all of you for the plaque and gift cards! We were very surprised and feel extremely grateful! We have enjoyed working with the scouts this year and have learned a lot about ourselves and about scouting. We feel that Den 3 will be heading into Weblos as a very strong, solid den. A special thanks to Paul Dalia, for keeping all of the achievements and awards in order for us – we couldn’t have done it without him! Also a big thanks to all of the den parents. You’ve all lent a helping hand when needed and were a big part of the success of our den this year.
Although several dens will be meeting this week and next, we have decided NOT to meet on either day (May 25 & June 1). With the busy schedules we all have, including end of school activities, we feel it is best to have ended the year with Crossover. As you know, the Crossover always re-excites the boys to work on their new books and activities. Please remember to sign-up for Summer Day Camp as this will help your scout get a jump start on badges for next year.
Please be sure to check the Pack 20 website for summertime calendar events. The first summertime event will be on June 8th at the NTC from 6:30-8:00pm. It is a swimming event and will cover some of the requirements for the Aquanaut activitiy badge. Please see the Pack 20 website for more details.
On June 13th at 5pm, our charter organization, Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, will have a Scout Sunday Mass to honor all scouts for their service to our community and God. All scouts in attendance should wear their dress uniform. If you would like to assist in the planning of the event, please contact Murray Sawyer at 407-697-5989

Den 3’s Go-See-It at the Lake County Landfill
Den 3 visited the Lake County Landfill in Astatula on Saturday, November 14th. We were given an extensive tour of the landfill and learned about recycling waste.

No Meeting for Den 3 Wolves March 10th
Since we are not able to meet at the church next week (3/10/09), we have decided to NOT meet next week. This means our next Den meeting will be 3/17/09.
Also just a reminder we are asking for volunteers to please help with pig on the pond Friday and Saturday the 13th and 14th from 6pm till 10pm. Please email brian.zollweg@hewitt.com to sign-up or if you have questions. Thank you for your help
