Crossover Campout Information

Due to capacity constraints at Ft. Wilderness, we will be relocating our Crossover Campout and Ceremony to an alternate location.  We apologize for the inconvenience if you have already made plans for Disney.

Our Crossover Campout and Ceremony this year will be held at the Clerbrook Golf Resort in Clermont (20005 Hwy 27), 1 mile North of Lakeridge Winery.  We have a great schedule of activities planned, including camping, swimming, golf lessons from a USGA pro, fishing, a movie, and campfire.

* Registration will be required through the Pack for anyone camping and for day guests eating and taking part in the activities.  The cost this year is only $15 per person for the entire weekend.  This includes 2 nights of tent camping, Saturday lunch, a crossover t-shirt for each Scout, a Cub Scout handbook for each Scout, and all the activities.  Please see Brian Zollweg to sign up your family and guests and to pre-pay.

* Full hookup sites for RVs and campers and 1-bedroom villas are also available for an additional charge.  To get more details and to register, first sign up with Brian and then contact Clerbrook (352-394-5513) for information and reservations for your villa or RV/camper site.  Be sure to reference Pack 20 to get our discounted rate.

Proposed Crossover Agenda:

Friday, May 21 – Afternoon/evening: Individual campsite check-in and meals.  Individual activities or dens or groups can organize activities like fishing, shuffleboard, horseshoes, or baseball.

Saturday, May 22 - Crossover Ceremony, Group Lunch, Activities:
8am   – individual breakfasts at campsite
9:00   – flag ceremony
         – uniform inspection immediately following
10:00 – Crossover ceremony
11:30 – break
Noon – Group lunch
1 – 4  – swimming (lifeguard)
2 – 4  – Golf lessons with pro (sign up with Brian) *parents can play a round for a reduced rate that day
4-5:30 – Baseball or fishing
5:30  – individual dinner at campsites or optional den meals
7:30  – Movie
9:00  – Campfire

Sunday, May 23 - Individual meals, activities, and pack-up and check out
